St. Anthony's Noah Nieto (right) and Brandon Barry try to take down Wilson's Dejour Smith as the two teams battle it out earlier this season at Clark Field.

St. Anthony was able to keep it close for one half of the CIF Southern Section Division 9 quarterfinals on the road at Burroughs, but ended up finishing its season with a 32-7 loss on Friday night.

The Saints (8-4) were down 9-0 at halftime, and Burroughs (10-2) scored 21 unanswered points to put the game away. Quarterback Deshaun Harvey’s 88-yard kickoff return was the only St. Anthony touchdown.

Burroughs will play its first semifinals since 2005 against Mayfair.
