Coach James Boykin couldn’t have asked for a better response from the Wilson basketball team after a 30-point loss to Poly on Wednesday night.
A win at home over Cabrillo, and a Jordan upset of Wilson, helped Long Beach Poly boys basketball take over first place in the Moore League on Friday night.
Noel Moncada has been a catalyst for the Millikan offense and Wednesday was no different as the senior scored and assisted on a goal during the Rams’ 2-0 win against Cabrillo.
When it comes to the Moore League wrestling scene Millikan and Lakewood have been the top dogs in Long Beach. In the last two years, the Rams and Lancers have represented 27 of the 28 league’s individual titles.
