Long Beach Transit's electric buses began service in 2016.

Long Beach Transit (LBT) announced adjustments to bus lines that took effect in August, according to a release.

Service will be added to routes 91, 92, 93 and 94, connecting downtown Long Beach Transit Gallery to Bellflower High School from Long Beach City College and Lakewood Mall, as well as improved services north of California State University, Long Beach.

Service-hour modifications will take place on the following routes:

Route 1 will connect Downtown Long Beach Transit Gallery with CSULB, Dominguez Hills via Easy Avenue, Santa Fe Avenue and Del Amo Boulevard.

Route 96 ZAP will connect Seventh Street and Long Beach Boulevard with Woodruff Avenue and Del Amo Boulevard via the Veterans Administration Medical Center and Millikan High School.

Route 102's last westbound Monday through Friday trip will be removed from the schedule.

Route 121 will connect Catalina Landing with Ximeno Avenue and Athertorn Street via Second Street and PCH.

Adjustments will be made to Routes 101, 102, 103 and 104, connecting Willow Street and Santa Fe Avenue with Long Beach Towne Center via Atlantic Avenue and Carson Street.

Routes 51 and 52 will have access to CityPlace via Third Street.

Route 176 will end at Long Beach City College.
