Reagan Romali will give her first "State of the College" on Friday, Feb. 2.

Long Beach City College updates on new construction, economic development programs, students/faculty successes and upcoming goals will be included at the annual State of the College — and residents can reserve a spot to hear it.

LBCC Superintendent/President Reagan Romali will give the address — her first since becoming superintendent last May — at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at LBCC's Liberal Arts Campus Hall of Champions Gymnasium (5000 E. Lew Davis St.).

Other speakers include LBCC Board of Trustees President Jeffrey Kellogg, LBCC executive vice president Ann-Marie Gabel, and LBCC Academic Senate President Jorge Ochoa.

The Long Beach Rotary also will present a check to LBCC for student scholarships.

Free parking is available in Lot M at Veterans Stadium.

Pre-packaged, nutritious food donations for LBCC students will be accepted.
