Long Beach resident Jane Hansen has accepted the position of Director of Development at the CSULB College of the Arts (COTA).
Hansen has more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit sectors including arts and youth development, according to a release. Her first job in Long Beach was at the Long Beach Museum of Art and she also served as director of development for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Long Beach.
"Jane brings a strong energy and drive to the college," Cyrus Parker-Jeannette, COTA dean, said. "Her experience with the Long Beach community and her involvement with the arts are all enormous assets."
The College of the Arts is comprised of the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music, the Departments of Dance, Design, Film and Electronic Arts and Theatre Arts and the college's School of Art. COTA also includes the University Art Museum and the Carpenter Performing Arts Center.
