Lisa Chapman, who operates a UBS Financial Advisors office out of Seal Beach while she lives in Long Beach, has been named one of the top women financial advisors in the country by Forbes magazine.
Forbes produces the list each year using an independent research firm — SHOOK Research. The ranking includes both qualitative and quantitative criteria, with community involvement, industry experience and client retention among the factors.
Chapman is part of the UBS Western Division, which placed 11 advisors on the Forbes list. According to the release announcing the honor, many women investors feel as though men don't really hear them when discussing finances, and women advisors have a good track record counseling other women.
Chapman is the Managing Director - Wealth Management of her office and is a certified financial planner™, Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®).
She and her husband, Frank, live in Long Beach and have been active philanthropists there for years. Goodwill SOLAC and Operation Jump Start are among their beneficiaries, and Chapman is on the Memorial Medical Center Foundation board.
