A Long Beach man was arrested Tuesday on multiple charges of sexual assault on a minor, and detectives say there may be more victims.
A minor came to police Monday, April 8, and reported they had been sexually assaulted multiple times in Long Beach and Seal Beach. The victim identified the attacker, and police arrested Anthony Sutton, 32, on Tuesday.
Sutton worked as a teacher’s aide at a learning center in Long Beach, where he had been employed since January. Police said none of the reported incidents occurred at the center, but added more victims are believed to exist.
Sutton was booked for multiple charges of sexual assault of a minor and possession of child pornography and is being held at the Long Beach jail on $200,000 bail.
Detectives said they are strongly encouraging anyone who may have been victimized to come forward.
