Wilson’s boys’ water polo team lost in the semifinals and the consolation game of the S&R Tournament, finishing in fourth place.

Los Al def. Wilson 8-7

The Bruins own a one-goal game over the Griffins, but Los Al got their revenge in the semifinal round of the S&R. Murphy Slater led the local side with a hat trick, backed up by a pair of goals from Jackson Kimbell and one apiece from Maxwell Irving and Jake  Ctvrtlik.

Sacred Heart def. Wilson 11-10

The S&R showed off how close the top water polo teams in the area are. Wilson led 3-1 after the first quarter but trailed 6-5 at halftime, going on to lose by the narrow margin. Kimbell had a hat trick, Ctvrtlik had a pair, and Zachary D’Sa, Jake Davis, Brock Gordon, and Maxwell Irving all chipped in. Kimbell also had a steal.
