The Jordan softball team (8-8, 2-4) kept its bats hot in a 23-2 win over Dominguez on Monday. Ileana Rivera hit her third home run in three games for the Panthers, while Destiny Jimenez went 3-for-3 with four RBI’s.

Arisa Cleaveland pitched five shutout innings in the Wilson win and added six strikeouts. Freshman Sinclair Lawhorn went 3-for-4 with a triple and six RBI's. Wilson (11-12, 4-2) plays Cabrillo on the road on Wednesday.

ST. ANTHONY 11 BISHOP MONTGOMERY 0

The Saints (13-8, 7-0) remained unbeaten in league play as freshman Brooke Townsend no-hit the Knights facing only 16 batters. Freshman Tiare Jennings led the offense with three RBI’s. St. Anthony Mary Star on Wednesday in league play.

BOYS’ GOLF

Wilson (13-4) defeated Los Alamitos 377-393 at Recreation Park Golf Course (par 72) on Monday afternoon. Tyler Allen and Brad Calubid shared the medalist honors for the Bruins with 2-over par rounds of 74.

The Jackrabbits fell to Cypress in a close match at Recreation Park Golf Course (par 36).

Poly's Augie Gvildys and Cypress' So Tri Ha shared the medalist honors with 3-over rounds of 39.

LACROSSE

Wilson outlasted Valencia-Placentia 6-5 last Friday at home. Jack Cummings and Malachi Valenzuela-Mier had two goals each to lead the Bruin offense, while Ari Naiman had two assists.

Charley Littleworth and Christian Clapp each chipped in with a goal and freshman goalie John Legaspi had 19 saves for the Bruins. AJ Paclibare had an assist and freshman defender Noah McLaughlin collected 12 ground balls.
