Due to a widespread illness among the Pacific women's basketball team, today's game at Long Beach State (schedule for 4pm) has been postponed.

The Tigers played with their whole roster sick against Northridge on Thursday, as their head coach said they were "shuffling players in and out based on who couldn't stand up any longer." Nine players were hospitalized as of Friday evening, making the Saturday game impossible.

It's a difficult turn for the 49ers, who were expecting several thousand fans to be in attendance for their annual Pink Game, and who are riding the positive momentum of their Thursday night victory over UC Davis. In lieu of the game, Long Beach State will host an open practice at 4pm, with a poster signing afterward.

Combined with the men dropping a stinker against Creighton...horrid weekend for LBSU hoops.
