Long Beach City College has hired Ramon L. Knox as its new dean of student affairs, overseeing and managing the department of student affairs, including: office of student life, student discipline, volunteer resource center and student government.
Knox comes from California State University, Fullerton, where he was chief of operations and vice president’s chief of staff, executive management team member and on the vice president’s leadership advisory board. Before that, he was Chapman University associate dean. His other experience includes Missouri State University, Macalester College, Cornell University, Augsburg College and Mills College.
Knox is an Indianapolis, Ind., native, Ball State University graduate and Missouri State University master’s degree in counseling recipient.
