It's graduation season and Long Beach State graduates — an estimated 11,000 of them — are taking center stage next week, with the first graduation scheduled for Tuesday.
This year, all ceremonies are happening outdoors on the track and field on lower campus. Folding chairs and grandstand seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Some ceremonies do require that guests have tickets, including Liberal Arts, Health and Human Services, Business and Engineering.
A limited amount of tickets are available for pickup at the University Bookstore in the grad distribution area. Allotted quantities are: Up to eight tickets for the College of Engineering and five tickets per graduate for College of Health and Human Services, Liberal Arts and Business.
Additionally, the ceremonies will be broadcast for free (no ticket is needed) in the Walter Pyramid.
