Attorney Matt Kinley, who owns Kinley Law Practice, will be the keynote speaker next Wednesday at the Long Beach Branch NAACP Law Day.

Kinley has been an attorney since 1989. He was a partner at TLD Law, formerly Tredway Lumsdaine & Doyle LLP, where he served as Managing Partner from 2006 to 2011 before opening his own firm.

This will be the 19th annual Law Day sponsored by the Long Beach NAACP in conjunction with the Keesal, Young & Logan Law Firm. The award-winning program includes eight components: Law Day study guide for students and teachers, legal career and law materials; mentoring, meeting, and shadowing lawyers, judges, and other legal professionals; courthouse and law school visitations, and Law Day speakers, panels, and discussions.

Law Day culminates with Wednesday's reception and program at Keesal, Young and Logan's offices in the Union Bank Building, 400 Oceangate. The closing ceremony includes student interaction with attorneys as well as Kinley's speech.
