Long Beach City College's Lifetime Learning Center has a full fall on its calendar.

Classes include Music Appreciation and Musical Theatre Lovers with Lucy Daggett and Sidney Hopson from 1 to 3 p.m. Mondays starting Aug. 27. Mary Thoits will guide the world affairs class at the same time on Wednesdays, and there will be a Tai Chi for Better Balance 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays.

Two new classes join the roster this semester. Beginning Drawing and Basic Watercolor Techniques will be taught by Mori Morikawa will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays Sept. 11 to Oct. 30, and Music and Film if from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays from Sept. 25 to Nov. 13.

Class cost ranges from $30 to $55. All classes are at thePacific Coast Campus Lifetime Learning Center (Building QQ), 1305 E. PCH.

The learning program also is know for its day trips. This year's destinations include Pretty Pasadena, Malibu's Past and Present, the Spirit of Hollywood and more. Tour cost ranges from $59 to $98. Check the Gazette calendar for specific dates.
