Industry veterans Mark Wain and Gary Chau opened their seventh location at 2ND & PCH last week as the company enters its 13th year of business.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the beautiful and family-oriented community in Long Beach, where there’s a true sense of neighborhood,” Chau said in a release. “We are excited to share a space where family and friends can get together in a social environment, and your barista knows your name and favorite drink.”
Caffe Luxxe commemorates each opening with an exclusive coffee blend release, and in keeping with tradition, the company will debut their Naples Blend, named for Long Beach’s own Naples neighborhood, and Caffe Luxxe takes its inspiration from Italy.
A blend of coffees from Brazil and Guatemala, the medium-bodied Naples Blend evokes aromas of toffee, citrus zest and toasted nuts and flavor notes of black tea, cherry cola and white grape. What makes this blend so special is that it will be exclusively sold at the Long Beach location.
In addition to coffee, the cafe features a variety of fresh pastries, including handmade croissants, scones and cookies. The cafe’s marketplace is curated with a collection of lifestyle products including the Caffe Luxxe A Casa bath and body line and freshly roasted bags of Caffe Luxxe coffee.
Caffe Luxxe is at 2ND & PCH in Long Beach, and open daily from 7 am to 6 pm. For more information visit www.caffeluxxe.com.
Barry’s, the boutique fitness studio, brings high energy workouts and healthy snacks to Long Beach locals. Barry’s owners say it is the original boutique lifestyle brand that innovated group fitness by creating an immersive and transformative full-body workout experience. It has officially opened its first Long Beach studio at 6480 E. Pacific Coast Highway at 2ND&PCH.
The expansive space is custom designed with features, including its iconic Red Room, which can have up to 45 students in each class, as well its signature Fuel Bar, serving up Barry’s own healthy recipes and customizable smoothies and snacks, designed to energize students and guests, and help them reach their goals.
The Long Beach location also features an exclusive clothing boutique, carrying Barry’s collaborations with high end workout and athleisure apparel brands. Additional amenities include separate men’s and women’s locker rooms and showers stocked with luxury skin and bath products.
Founded in Los Angeles in 1998, Barry’s was conceived to “make getting into the best shape of your life not only possible, but fun.” The workout is results-driven — pushing participants to their physical and mental limits. A one-hour class incinerates fat, burns up to 1,000 calories and helps each guest release the stresses of the week.
Barry’s Long Beach offers special rates for Cal State Long Beach and Long Beach City College students, as well as class packages and memberships. For more information, visit www.barrysbootcamp.com/studio/long-beach, or email email@example.com.
Editor's Note: A previous version of this story stated that Barry's Bootcamp was at the Marina Pacifica Center. It is located at the new 2ND&PCH.
