A Naples Easter Egg Hunt that took place in 2017 at the Colonnade.

Easter is April 21 this year and here's information on Easter-related activities. Unless otherwise specified, events are on Easter Sunday, April 21.

Volunteers are needed for Operation Easter Basket, which has the goal of assembling 3,500 essentials-filled baskets for needy children in the community. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18, and 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 19, at Bay Shore Church Youth Center, 5200 The Toledo. For details, go to www.JustinRudd.com/Easter.

The YMCA Good Friday Breakfast, with retired L.A. County Sheriff Jim McDonnell as keynote speaker, starts at 7:15 a.m. Friday, April 19, in the Grand Ballroom at the Convention Center, 300 E. Ocean Blvd. Tickets are $60. Call (562) 279-1700 or go www.LBymca.org.

The Naples Island Easter Egg Hunt has a new location this year. The event starts at 10 a.m. Friday, April 19, at Overlook Park (Not the Colonnade Fountain). The Easter Bunny will be on hand as well.

The Community Egg Hunt (featuring 20,000 hidden eggs and pictures with the Easter Bunny) starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, Los Altos Park, 5481 Stearns St. It's presented by Kids Can Cosplay and Long Beach Nazarene Church. For more information, go to www.lbfnaz.org.

The Spring Fun Fest, sponsored by Macaroni Kid, starts at 10 a.m Saturday, April 20, at Whaley Park, 5620 E. Atherton St., and features an Easter Egg hunt, egg rolling, egg decorating, music and the Easter Bunny. It's free except for a small charge for the egg decorating.

Sound House Church hosts the Belmont Eggstravaganza from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Will Rogers Middle School, 365 Monrovia Ave. Activities include face painting, bounce houses, treats a "huge" Easter Egg hunt and more. Go to www.soundhousechurch.com.

Trinity Lutheran Church hosts an Easter Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. at 759 Linden Ave.

The Hoppy Easter 5K/10K/15K run starts at  5:30 a.m. or 7 a.m. Sunday, April 21, at Marina Vista Park, 5200 E. Eliot St. (However, runners interested in doing a full or 2/3 marathon must start at 5:30 a.m.) Entry fees start at $25. Go to www.active.com and search for "Hoppy Easter."

The Easter Bunny will be present at the Easter Champagne Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fuego at Hotel Maya, 700 Queensway Dr. Besides an Easter Egg Hunt, there will be live jazz, a petting zoo and a face painter. Easter Brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lakewood Country Club, 3101 E. Carson St. Brunch is $38 for adults, $30 for seniors and $18 for ages 3-12. For reservations, call (562) 421-0550, ext. 21. The club also is hosting a free community egg hunt at 11 a.m. for ages 3-12.

Micheal's on Naples is offering a special four-course Easter Brunch with entree choices of English Pea and Pecorino cheese-filled pasta, Grilled Lamb Loin or Grilled Swordfish from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m for $50. Call (562) 439-7080. Michael's is at 5620 E. Second St.

Plenty to choose from on the Queen Mary. The Royal Easter Brunch (hosted by the Easter Bunny) will be served from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features 50 dishes from around the world including Pepper Crusted Prime Rib. In addition to brunch, there will be a petting zoo, face painting, balloon art and Easter-themed craft stations. Easter egg hunts are set for 1 p.m. (ages 5 and younger), 1:45 p.m. (ages 6-9) and 2:30 p.m. (ages 10-15). Brunch tickets start at $69. Cafe Sevilla will serve a Nine-Course Tapas and Champagne Brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., accompanied by live Spanish music.
