Acclaimed author Neil Gaiman will speak and answer questions at 8 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center at California State University, Long Beach.

Gaiman is the author of “American Gods,” “Coraline,” “The Graveyard Book” and his collection of short stories called “Trigger Warning.” He is known for the enormous variety in his works from Norse gods and Arthurian legends to glam rock and kindergarten-age zombies.
