A new spot to create treasures, both by yourself and with others, will open Saturday in Naples.

The shop, called CRAFT + LIGHT a DIY Crafts Studio, is owned by Shelley Williams. There will be table craft kits, oils and butters, and basic supplies for sale. There also are craft-making tools available for rent during the open studio hours — 1-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.

A full schedule of workshops is planned, from wooden sign making to soaps. There also will be an arts studio where local artists can exhibit their work.

A grand opening will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, with flower crowns being made. CRAFT + LIGHT is at 5614 E. Second St., next to Michael's Pizzeria.

Regular hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday-Friday (retail closes at 6 p.m.) and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. For more information, go to www.craftandlight.org or call 562-607-5959.
